With one foot in the city, and the other in the Texas country, moments of feeling lost in the wide open Texas skies left me longing to bring that feeling back home in the city. My artwork explores my connection to the places I've been, and how they become where I want to be.

I am driven by the desire to bring wide open spaces onto the boundaries of the canvas. I find inspiration from play of light on the land, changing weather, and the variety of nature. I like to play with bright colors and bring light and life on to my paintings. By painting these special places, my artwork allows me to create that feeling of home no matter where I am.  

I create work for the client who welcomes beauty into his or her home. My collectors have a desire to bring their home to life with artwork, so that anyone who walks through their doors might experience a moment of calm through this window to nature when they look at one of my paintings. Whether its a small piece on a bookshelf, or a large statement piece in the entryway, my personal approach to creating artwork with the end client in mind ensures that each piece they collect will fill their home with the light, color and natural touch it needs.

After graduating from Texas Christian University, I met my husband, Austin, and together with our busy toddler, we call Fort Worth our home. In the Fall, you're likely to find us at our TCU tailgate, but in the Spring, we'll be walking through the wildflowers & breathing in the fresh air with wild hair and mismatched clothes at my family's farm in South Texas.
